Migrating from Oberlo, DSers, or AutoDS to ImportFlow

How to move your existing product workflow to an AI-first importer without breaking anything.

What actually needs to migrate

Three things: (1) connected Shopify stores, (2) saved supplier products in the tool's pipeline (your "catalog"), (3) price rules and automation logic. The products already published to Shopify stay on Shopify — no migration needed for those. Only the tool-side state moves.

Step 1: audit what you have

Export your existing importer's product list as CSV. Count imported products, pending drafts, and custom price rules. This tells you the scope of the move and flags anything tool-specific you'll need to recreate.

Step 2: connect Shopify in the new tool

OAuth connect all your stores in ImportFlow. This takes 5 minutes per store. Importantly, don't disconnect the old tool yet — run in parallel for a week while you validate.

Step 3: recreate price rules and templates

Most importers have similar price rule concepts (markup + rounding + min margin). Translate your existing rules to the new tool's format. Test with 2-3 test products before applying to the catalog.

Step 4: import your backlog

For drafts you hadn't published yet: paste the supplier URLs into ImportFlow and let AI process them. This is usually a win — you get better descriptions during migration than the old drafts had.

Step 5: validate then disconnect

Do 2-3 end-to-end imports through the new tool. Compare output quality and Shopify sync to the old tool. Once you're confident, cancel the old subscription. Keep the export CSV as a backup for 90 days.

How ImportFlow solves this

Migrations are usually smoother than they feel ahead of time. The actual work is 2-4 hours. The bigger blocker is psychological — trusting a new tool with critical workflow.

ImportFlow is a purpose-built Shopify product importer that combines AI rewriting, multi-language translation, bulk import, SEO scoring, and scheduled publishing in a single dashboard. You paste a supplier URL, let the AI rewrite titles and descriptions for your market, set your pricing rules, and publish to Shopify — a workflow that normally takes 20-30 minutes per product happens in under a minute.

Stores using ImportFlow typically ship 7-10× more products per week than stores doing manual listings, and those products launch with proper SEO meta fields, Google Shopping categories, and market-specific copy from day one. Start your free trial at importflow.app and see the difference on your next product import.
